Hugel Co., Ltd., a global total medical and esthetic company, announced on August 23rd that it successfully held a webinar titled ‘Licellvi (the product name in Korea: Blue Rose Forte)’ for Thai healthcare professionals (HCPs) on August 16th.

About 300 Thai HCPs participated in the webinar with the theme of ‘Combination of Thread Lifting and Botulinum Toxin’. Korean KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) participated as speakers and gave presentations on the features of Licellvi, a polydioxanone (PDO) suture brand, and shared various techniques for its utilization.

The first speaker, Dr Choi Ho-Seong (Pierna Clinic) gave a talk entitled “Exploring the Mid & Lower Face Lifting Using PDO Threads Through Personalized Approach”. The next speaker, Dr. Lim Soo-Seong (Balance Lab Plastic Surgery) presented “the ‘Brow Thread Lift – What to consider”, a talk in line with the local trend of high interest in forehead and eyebrow procedures.

As Aestox (the product name in Korea: Botulax), a botulinum toxin product of Hugel, already in the market and occupied the top market share in Thailand, the combinatory and synergistic procedures of Licellvi and Aestox were well received in the webinar.

A representative from Hugel said, “Our goal is to establish successfully the Licellvi brand in the market. We plan to promote various academic marketing activities, targeting medical professionals in Thailand.” He added, “In particular, as the first Korean company introduced in the Thai market for PDO suture, botulinum toxin, and HA filler, we will do our best to raise the recognition of Hugel's corporate value in the local market. We would like to demonstrate the potential of the medical aesthetic industry of Korea.”

Meanwhile, Hugel launched the PDO suture product ‘Licellvi’ in Thailand last June. Licellvi is a brand name of PDO-based suture product of J-World, a subsidiary of Hugel and a leading Korean suture manufacturer. The company obtained approval for 10 products from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) in March.
