Hugel Co., Ltd. announced on the 19th that it had recently successfully held a launch seminar of ‘Licellvi (commercial name in Korea: Blue Rose Forte)’ at Pullman Hotel Sukhumvit, Thailand.

The first speaker in the seminar was Kang Min-jong, executive director of sales and marketing of Hugel and CEO of J-World.

He introduced Licellvi by presenting the product description and features. Licellvi is a PDO (polydioxanone) suture product of J-World, a subsidiary of Hugel and a leading medical suture manufacturer in Korea.

Executive Director Kang said, "Existing PDO sutures are weak against heat. J-World has developed a unique processing method called 'Minimal-Heated Press Molding sculpting' in order to overcome those weakness. Our product has the improved quality in terms of retention time and binding force."

Dr. Lee Hwang-heui (president of Cheongdam NB Clinic, Korea) and three local key opinion leaders gave a series of lectures including treatment demonstration with the product.

About 200 local healthcare professionals attended the launch seminar and showed a lot of interests in the product.

Dr. Lee gave a lecture entitled “how to improve lifting effect by Combination (Lifting+Fixation)” and explained about the advanced technique developed in Korea. He said that the combination method increases the treatment efficiency.

A series of lectures followed, including demonstration of the basic treatment, the trend of treatments in Thailand, and the application for specific treatments. Dr. Kritsada Kowitwibool spoke about an 'anatomical approach' in which the procedure design can improve the completeness of the treatment.

Dr. Korn Limpakorn presented a treatment example of eye lifting by using non-surgical glabellar correction. Dr. Marut Laohaviroj explained the 'V-line' lifting procedure by using a combination of HA filler and Licellvi.

“Letybo (commercial name in Korea: Botulax), a botulinum toxin product of Hugel, has already been marketed in Thailand. We plan to establish the market share as soon as possible in Thailand by taking advantage of the synergy of the two products”, said a representative from Hugel.

He added, “we plan to target actively the medical professionals through academic promotion and marketing. We would like to increase the recognition and credibility of our brand Licellvi”
